A. In relation to tests availed by the customer or patient through the use of this Online Portal, Personal Information may be shared with the corresponding healthcare personnel who will be involved in the test processing.

B. To aid in the payment of the Services acquired or applied for using this Portal, the customer or patient’s Personal Information may be utilized to perform billing, accounting, auditing, and collection activities.

C. As provided by the customer or patient, we may also disclose the necessary and relevant information to the former’s duly authorized representative.

D. In connection with the conduct of tests or treatment and payment activities, third party services performing activities for or in our behalf may be provided with the relevant Customer or Patient Information they may need.

E. To be more efficient with our Services, the Personal Information required to be given on this Portal may be used to send appointment reminders and other such relevant notices to the customer or patient.

F. In line with our duty to the State, we may also disclose Personal Information provided for by the customer or patient to public health officials to aid them in disseminating and effecting public health advisories, activities, and investigations, or to the assigned government agencies for health oversight activities and investigations. Furthermore, we may disclose the customer or patient’s Personal Information when required by law and/or government authorities. We may also disclose certain Personal Health Information as we believe is required, necessary, or appropriate under the following:

The Online Examination Results Portal may be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, system upgrades, or other unforeseen circumstances.

 

Examination Results Retention Policy

 

We do not undertake to maintain any information about you for a duration greater than necessary to provide services to you or as provided by law, rule or regulation. Thus, Our Lady of the Pillar Medical Center reserves the right to remove the examination results from the Online Examination Results Portal that have reached 30 days of continuous online availability. We will either delete, dispose or anonymize it in a  secure manner that would prevent further processing, unauthorized access, or disclosure to any other party, or prejudice your interest. You can download your examination results in a Portable Document Format (PDF) for your personal use or reference. Our Lady of the Pillar Medical Center is not responsible for any issues that may occur from your downloaded results, such as file corruption or incompatibility with your device.

 

Limitation of Liability

 

While Our Lady of the Pillar Medical Center makes every endeavor to protect your Personal Information, no use of the internet is 100% secure. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any Personal Information we process. Although we will do our best to protect your Personal Information, transmission of these information to and from the Service is at your own risk.
